LIVING COUNSELS TO A PERSON WITH A FUTURE

1. BUILD AND ANCHOR YOUR LIFE ON CHRIST
Matt 7:24-27
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. KJV

2.      FIND OUT AND PURSUE DOGGEDLY GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOU LIFE – the example of Paul the Apostle:
 Acts 26:15-16
15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. 16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; …KJV

3.      BE VISIONARY AND BE DETERMINED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR GENERATION
Prov 29:18
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. KJV

Hab 2:2-3
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. KJV

4.      BELIEVE GOD FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE – MIRACLES STILL HAPPEN EVERYDAY
Job 42:2
2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. KJV

Jer 32:17
17 Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: KJV

Jer 32:17
17 "O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! NLT

5.      DILIGENCE IS NECESSARY VIRTUOUS HABIT – CULTIVATE IT
 Prov 22:29
29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. KJV

6.      LIVE BEYOND YOURSELF – MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY/FOR BREAD ALONE
James 1:27
27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. NLT

7.      ABOVE ALL, ASK FOR GOD’S MERCY –
Eccl 9:11
11 I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time. NLT
