TURNING YOUR PAINS TO GAINS

...::INTRODUCTION::...
Pains and grieves are part of the world we live in. Our ability under God to handle or manage that moment of pains will go a long way to help us. This message is to encourage someone going through pain or pains right now and fortify those who are not going through such situation.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18

How do you Turn your Pains to Gains?

1. SEE YOUR PAINS FROM GOD’S PERSPECTIVE

- Those that look at their pains from human perspective never get solution quickly like those who think or look otherwise.
- From God’s perspective, your pains reveal His purpose.
- God could use pains to fulfill His purposes in our lives.
- “Our deepest life message often comes out of our deepest pain,…I can endure pain if I see a purpose in it. But sadly, most people squander their suffering, don't profit from their problems, never learn from their losses and are unable to advance from their adversity or gain from their pain." – Rick Warren
"Winners have the same problems losers do, but they get back up while losers stay down. The secret to a person's resilience is perspective."

- God can use our personal pains to be a blessing to others. That is the right perspective.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 2 Corinthians 1:3

2. UNDERSTAND THAT GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN AND CANNOT FORSAKE YOU
Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. 14 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. 15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. 16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Isaiah 49:13

- You are still in God’s mind. He has not forgotten you.
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43:2

3. HOLD UNTO GOD AND BE PATIENT
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises Hebrews 6:12

- Don’t go back from following Christ because of the pains you are going through. It will soon be over.
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Hebrews 10:38
- There is an expiring date for the pains. Just hold unto Jesus.
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Peter 5:10
- Jesus Himself went through suffering and pains
For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18

4. KEEP YOUR HOPE ALIVE

- One of the things you must not allow to die in your life is your hope.
- Those that keep their hope alive never experience shame or disappointment.
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:5

- If those pains have not consumed you till date have hope in God that they will not.

22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. Lamentations 3:22-24

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Hebrews 10:23

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. Romans 4:18

Conclusion:
No matter the level or height of the pains you have experienced or experiencing right now, the good news is that your moment of joy has come in Jesus name.
