THE MERCIES OF THE LORD

Often times, Christians stress themselves over what they cannot control, rather than leave it for God to handle. They seem to have forgotten how merciful God is.

Many people tend to worry over their needs when all they needed to do was to entrust it with the merciful God who is able to deliver everything they wanted into their hands.
Recall in the book of Romans 8:32, the Bible said “he that spared not his own son, but delivered him for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things”. The quoted Bible verse has shown us how merciful our God is.

Are your needs more than the precious life of God’s only son, if your answer is no, why then bother yourself and not commit them into the hands of Him who is capable of delivering them to you.
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” I Peter 5:7. In that Bible verse, we can see the assurance of supply of all our needs by God. The same God promised us in Phillipians 4:19 that he will supply all of our needs according to his riches in glory. Why then do we stress ourselves over promises he has made.

God our father is a merciful God that will never abandon nor forsake us, he is full of mercy and compassion “For the Lord thy God is a merciful God; he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them” (Deuteronomy 4:31)
Brethren, don’t worry yourself over what God can handle for you. Have you forgotten that “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy” (Psalm 103:8)
